Hey guys!
For a long time we thought on improving the game in the 3rd portal. It became the main source of the inspiration for this update.

3rd Portal Improvements

The 3rd portal is now separate for PVE and PVP

PVE variant (lite version of the 3rd portal)

  • now available for entering without a delay
  • the price to enter is 1 diamond
  • the boss, as before, gives a chance to get a card, an artifact and drops 0-1 (0-2 with premium account) diamonds
  • a diamond in the chest of the second location is not available

PVP variant (full version)

  • Entrance is possible only with an adequate opponent (+-3 levels and an
    equal PVP rank)
  • as before, the boss, as before, gives a chance to get a card, an artifact and drops 1-3 (2-6 with premium account) diamonds  (to
    compensate losses)
  • as before, a diamond in the chest of the second location goes to the first who finds it
  • a pay off for the gold is no longer available (to prevent “contractual fights”)
  • chat is no longer available in the 3rd portal (for the same reason)
  • amongst common artifacts, there is now a chance to get a golden artifact! (for the PVP battle victory)

New artifacts!

  • According to many requests, we have added a new type of artifacts – the
    golden ones with set bonuses!
  • a full set of the golden artifacts will provide unique bonuses
  • incomplete set will not give a set bonuses, but the rest bonuses will act as usual
  • a type of bonus depends on the collected set (each set has its own bonus)
  • golden artifacts can be acquired only in the PVP mode of the 3rd portal

Shadow faction bonus

After a deep investigation, we have decided to correct one of the effects of the Shadow faction bonus: the mana drain. Since now, mana
drain amount will be calculated according to the mana remaining (not the maximum value as it was before). This change should improve mages PVP experience, when facing the opponents with shadow faction deck. Shadow Spirit mechanics however, will remain the same – his mana drain value calculation is still based on the maximum mana amount.


User Interface improvements

  • An additional inventory doll is now available with premium account, to let you switch comfortably two different sets of artifacts
  • additional inventory back packs are now available (for diamonds)
  • the faction bonus icon is now visible in lobby and allows to see the effects (using a tool tip)
  • now everyone will see the names of players with premium accounts carved with gold on locations and golden character panel in battles
  • now player names that are suitable by PVP rank will be shown on the
    green background in the location player list

Battle

  • Spying is now available in battles (gives the ability to see opponents stats) for 1 diamond
  • character race and class icons are now visible on the character panel in the battle and on the battle results window
  • additional information is now available in the battle results window: the survived units and tool tips showing unit upgrade level

Raid boss

  • Access to the minor raid bosses has been limited to 20th level instead of 25th (to give new players more chances to reach the top)
  • shadow Spirit that is summoned by the Horror (as a raid boss) is now using mana drain ability against player
  • fixed a bug preventing updates of the raid boss battle participants list

Magic

  • Counter Attack spell now has a mass version on the 4th level upgrade, costs 162 mana (instead of 117), gives 3 additional counter attacks
    (instead of 10)
  • spell upgrades window now shows values considering the faction bonus effects (if you have full faction deck)
  • spell values (damage or heal amount) are now shown correctly after switching artifacts, that has a Spell Power influence (in spell upgrades
    and magic shop windows)

Sound

  • Added independent controls for sound effects and music volume
  • music volume is now the same in battle mode and on locations
  • sound effects on locations are now 3D (the sound will span according to the camera position)
  • a volume correction is added to mass spells effects
  • main hero steps volume is reduced

Other Fixes & Improvements

  • Spells are now sorted correctly in the magic shop window
  • physical damage block effect is now visible (was invisible)
  • fixed a rare problem with Trint, that held his target rooted even after moving away

Android, Steam: billing trouble are fixed
